Canadian Modding Comp

Okay a very quick blog entry.

I had a few reservations about entering this years Canadian Modding Competition held by dazmode.com. I competed last year with my Wolverine - Old Man Logan build, and while it was a bit of an interesting competition mainly due to a low number of active entries into the competition by amateur modders and they made the call in the last couple of months to include sponsored modders to join the fray, I walked away from it unsure if competitions were my thing.

My Old Man Logan build did place 4th which I was happy about, regardless of the late entries, I found competing with what feels more like art to be kind of backwards. I like to support and create and not judge one better than the other whenever possible, but the fact of the competition is its a great place for exposure since the judges are all well known figures in the community, and if I want to gain reputation and add achievements to my PC building portfolio and resume, well, I guess i’ve gotta compete !

So, as I’m sure you’ve guessed if you’ve (anyone?) has read this far, I’ve signed up. I am a month behind now with 2 other builders looking like they’ve been working on their projects all year but, I plan to catch up.

Let’s build The Razor Crest
